I am 41 years old and I have been struggling with my weight and health basically my whole life – or at least my whole adult life since I have been a teenager. Step by step I will also share more of my personal story on this blog. But the main purpose is not my story. During the last almost 20 years I have been reading, listening, researching and experimenting with all kinds of health related topics. Be it different types of diets, all kinds of versions of fasting, various exercise routines, various supplements, and so on. After all this time with lots of ups and downs in terms of weight and health I am finally arrived at a point where I can say…
„I am happy with myself, with my weight and my health„
…and most importantly I am happy with the way I found to keep it like this and consistently improve without struggles. I strongly believe that not everyone needs to go through 20 years before arriving at this point.
The purpose of this blog is to share with you the health framework I derived in the last 20 years. This framework is based on the latest research combined with my own practical learning and experience. This I hope will enable you to fast forward through your own health journey and arrive at the „Happy point“ much faster.
In the coming blog posts I will explain you the overall framework and then step by step write more details about the different areas. We will talk about Nutrition, Activity, Exercise (yes these are two different topics), Sleep, Supplements, how to Measure health and Motivation. We will talk about the priorities in the framework and in each specific topic. Starting from the basics (things you absolutely have to do!) and moving to more advanced topics and details. Never forgetting that a practical implementation should always be simple and focusing first on the major basics. If you don’t dial in the major basics you don’t need to worry about the minor details.
